Grant Received for Upcoming Conference
The Anabaptist Peace Center - Washington, DC has been awarded a grant by the Fransen Family Foundation to help fund its upcoming conference "Bridging Divides: Creating Community in the Church." The grant will help defray organizing costs for the conference, which is tentatively planned to take place in Washington in the first quarter of 2008. "Bridging Divides. . ." will explore the divisions that exist in the church and provide practical tools and theological grounding for lay leaders and pastors as they seek to follow Christ's call to peacemaking both in the church and the world around them.
